AVS Site Council
The School Site Council is an elected committee made up of the Principal/Superintendent, 3 members of staff and 4 parents. The primary role this group plays is to develop our school Plan for Student Achievement that addresses the needs of all our students and ensures that state and federal funds are used in a way that maximizes academic growth. AVS Parents Club
PURPOSE OF THE AVSPC
The Alexander Valley School Parent’s Club (AVSPC) gives all families the opportunity to get involved and to make a difference in your children’s educational experience. No dues are required, all parents and families are welcomed.
The Parent’s Club raises over $50,000.00 /year which in return pay for the music, art and computer consultants at school, as well as, many other enrichment activities and field trips throughout the year.

The Parent’s Club mail box is located alongside the boxes for teacher mail in the teacher’s room. Suggestions and correspondence are encouraged.
MEETINGS
Parent Club meetings are held on the first Friday of the month at 8:15 in the morning, in the Alexander Valley School Staff Room. All parents are encouraged to attend.
