The Board of Trustees meets every month on the third Wednesday at 5.30 p.m. in the multi – purpose room. The meetings are open to all and attendance is encouraged. Meeting agendas and minutes are posted on the school notice board and on the public notice board at Jimtown. Minutes are also posted to the website after they have approved by the Board. The overall responsibilities of the Board are to:

promote learning and achievement for all students,
provide resources to deliver an effective and efficient program,
adopt a fiscally responsible budget and regularly monitor the fiscal health of the district,
ensure that a safe and appropriate educational environment is provided to all students,
hire and support the superintendent so that the policies and goals of the district are met.
